Trini and his parents moved to Devils Lake in 1969. Trini attended Devils Lake Public School and graduated from Devils Lake High School with the class of 1986. He continued his education at the UND, Grand Forks, where he received his Doctorate in Physiology. He completed his post doctorate at the University of Texas at Galveston, TX. He then went on to the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester where he earned his MBA.
Trini played hockey for the Devils Lake Satans and made many high school and college friends. He was very artistic and worked at Creative Impressions while attending DLPS.
Even though he lived in New York he kept very close contact with his parents and friends here in Devils Lake. He cherished the many trips his parents made to New York and “Grandma Dorothy” making tortillas with his children Cruz and Kya.
Trini’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Trini is survived by his wife Jessica and their two children Cruz and Kya of New York and his father Trinidad Vargas, Devils Lake and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy.
