Val Milette (nee McMahon)
1966 - 2026
Peacefully surrounded by family, Val passed away on January 3, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Don, parents Jack & Jean McMahon, siblings Tom (Val), Ken (Elaine) and Brenda (Norbert). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Val was born in Morden, MB on May 7, 1966. She grew up in Roland on the farm and was an animal lover from a young age. Val loved the outdoors and the warmth of the sun on her-you could tell by the golden girl tan she had from spring to fall. She also had many friends and an extended lake family at the Bird River where she celebrated life. Val loved snowmobiling through the wilderness at the lake in the winter and boating on the pontoon in the summer. She also loved singing with her sister Brenda and hamming it up for the camera. Val left lasting impressions upon people because of her loving heart.
The family would like to thank the palliative nurses and doctors for their excellent care and compassion.

A celebration of Val's life will take place at a later date.
