With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Valerie Pearl Driedger, aged 61 of Elm Creek, Manitoba. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Peter Driedger, her mother Rose Dyck, Aunt Marion, sisters-in-law Helen, Mary, Annie & Evelina Driedger and Tina Giesbrecht, along with one niece, five nephews and many cousins.
Valerie was raised on a farm in the Wingham District and loved working with cattle. After marrying Peter, she also learned to drive different kinds of machinery including combines, which she really enjoyed. She had a heart for missions and loved planting a big garden so she had extra produce to give to family, friends and various charities.
The funeral service will be held at Crossway Church Elm Creek, Monday, October 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a lunch.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Union Gospel Mission.
