Billy was born on September 6, 1943, the third child to Bennie and Mildred (Burns) Molde. Being the eldest boy, he spent many a summer bailing hay and tending to the family farm with his siblings. In 1982, Billy and his family bought a little slice of heaven and he continued a family tradition of raising cattle and pigs. Billy will be remembered for his work ethic, playing Santa for many children on Christmas Eve and his Colorado Bulldogs. Bill was well known in the community for his many years of tending bar and delivering propane.
Bill is survived by his sons: Dane (Cathy) and Dean (Kris) and grandson Colton Agotness; his siblings: Dianne, Tommy, Bobby, Jimmy, Danny, Gail, Mary, Jay, Lisa, and Marcia; and many nieces and nephews also survive. Bill was proceeded in death by his mother and father and his sisters: Judy, Bonnie, Susan, and Janice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Grafton American Legion Post 41 or Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.
