Officials in North Dakota have announced seven new cases of the coronavirus on Friday, pushing the state's total to 26. Gov. Doug Burgum noted Friday that one of the new cases is in rural Pierce County, and said that's evidence that the virus isn't just a big-city problem. Burgum also says he has signed an executive order to cut red tape around applying for unemployment insurance, noting the state has already seen a sharp increase in claims. Meanwhile, the University of North Dakota and Dickinson State canceled commencement.
