After a short illness our father Alan Ross Demler passed away August 30th, 2021. Dad was predeceased by his wife, Faye, parents, Peter and Bertha, and brother Jim. Leaving to mourn his loss is his sister Sharon, brother Jack, children, Debbie (Eugene), Alan (Laurel), Micheal (Dawn), grandchildren Stephanie (Steve), Donavon (Shay), Maxwell, Ayanna, Christian, Kyle and great grandchild Adlelynn.
Our dad was a sweat, quiet, and kind man. Dad and mom loved driving and exploring with truck and camper visiting many locations in Manitoba and beyond. When mom passed away Dad was able to continue his love of travel with special friend Marguerite. There was always something new to drive to and explore.
Given his love of driving and children it is no surprise that dad’s part time job for over forty years was driving the school bus. Dad was well known and loved by the students he supported in the Starbuck area. This included his own children and grandchildren, and we have many pleasant memories of our dad taking us to school.
Dad was a wonderful part of our lives. We will miss him with all our hearts.
Due to Covid concerns there will be a small intimate family gathering to put Dad to rest.
We thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Delmer is on his last bus route to heaven.
