Aneta Manson was born March 11, 1936 in Langdon, ND, the daughter of the late John H. and Denice (Pantes) Manson. She grew up and attended school in Langdon. She graduated from St. Alphonsus Catholic School. Aneta attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks, ND.
Aneta met Armand Vejtasa and they married on November 10, 1959 in Langdon, ND. She and Armand made their home in Adams and raised their three children David, Scott, and Jean. Armand passed away in 1979. Aneta cooked at the school, worked at the café, and managed the bowling alley. Everything she did, Aneta did with love. Her favorite way to spend time was visiting with her friends and family. Aneta was an incredible grandmother, who never missed a chance to hug her grandchildren and tell them how much they meant to her.
She is survived by her children: Scott (Stacey) Vejtasa, Tioga, ND, David (Kiley) Vejtasa, Tioga, ND and Jean Vejtasa (Craig Thorsell), Park River, ND; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother: Gene (Merry) Manson, Fargo, ND, sister-in-law: Lois Severson, Grand Forks, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorial Services will be Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the Silvesta Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
