Anne was born on June 5, 1954, in Carman MB to John & Margaret Baron. She was raised in Carman and in time settled in Miami.
Predeceased by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, her parents John & Margaret, mother-in-law Dorothy Black, father-in-law James Black, brother-in-law Gary, sister-in-law Shirley and brother-in-law Raymond. Left to cherish her memory are her son Robert (Deanna), daughter Jacqueline, three grandchildren Michael, Tyson & Taylor, her, sister Audrey (Glenn), brothers Jerry, Alvin, Bob (Chauna) and Walter, numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews.
Anne married Jack Black on June 11, 1977 and raised their two children in Miami. Throughout her years in Miami, Anne worked at a number of local businesses including: the Grandview Hotel, CIBC, Westaway Pharmacy, Co-op and; for the last few years she was employed by Angers Transfer. She displayed commitment to the town of Miami through her time working with the Christmas Cheer Board in town and serving on the LUD committee. She was also an avid curling fan and continued to watch up until she passed away.
An internment will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Dr. Larry Tan and Dr. Kenton Staines at the Health Sciences Centre. A special thank you to the nurses in the GA3 Medical unit at Health Sciences Centre for your kind and compassionate care of mom during the past week. You all made a truly difficult time a little more bearable knowing she was being so well looked after. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
