Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday November 12, 2022 at the Winkler E.M.M. Church with interment prior at Westridge Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1PM-8PM on Friday at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler. Donations may be made in Anne’s memory to the Winkler EMMC designated to Kidmin Truth & Training Fund.
Anne Falk (nee Rempel)1940 - 2022
On Friday November 4, 2022, with her children and husband at her side, Anne Falk went to be with her heavenly Saviour, just shy of her 82nd birthday.
Anne was born on December 21, 1940 in the village of Neuenburg in the RM of Stanley. As a teenager, she accepted Christ as her Saviour. On August 7, 1960 she married Edward Falk and together they raised four children, spending most of their married years in Winkler. Anne loved to minister to children and spent countless hours making puppets and writing puppet shows that she could present at church. She was a long-time volunteer in her church’s AWANA children’s ministry program and memorized all the verses along with the kids.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Helena Rempel, brother, Peter Rempel and sisters, Helena Driedger and Susie Penner. She leaves behind her husband, Edward Falk, children, Ramona (Harry) Hirsch, Leander Falk, Emery (Christine Klassen) Falk and Duane (Christina) Falk, grandchildren, Jonathon (Julie) Hirsch, Julianne (Noah) Friesen, Samuel, Noah, Gabriel and Mia Falk as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to say a special thank-you to all the staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre for how they cared for mom over the last few months and the amazing care she and the whole family received in the palliative care unit over this last week.
