Peacefully with his family by his side, Benjamin (Ben) Chaboyer passed away on Thursday December 3rd, 2020 at the age of 65 following a brief fight with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry, sons, Ryan (Tamara) and Adam (Marycel), grandson, Greyson, his six brothers, two sisters and their families, his mother-in-law and brother-in-law.
Ben was born in Kipling, SK and grew up Winnipeg in a big family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing trips, snowmobiling, golfing as well as watching sports. His career as a truck driver allowed him to travel all over Canada and the USA. He loved vacations to warm climates and was able to enjoy a family trip to Mexico over Christmas in 2019.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre for their care of Ben, especially Dr. Olson, Monika and Sara. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation.
