Bonita Dolney, age 63 of Minto, ND passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 near Minto, ND.
Bonita Kitzan was born January 30, 1959 in Richardson, ND, the daughter of the late Harold and Joyce (Gomke) Kitzan. She grew up and attended school in Glen Ullin, ND. Following her education she lived in several places before moving to Grafton in 1991. She began working at the Lutheran Sunset Home and later began working at Marvin Windows. She moved to Minto in 2001 and continued to make her home there until the time of her passing.
She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Bonita is survived by her children: Jessica (John) Castaneda, Grand Forks, ND, Joshua Moss, Shakopee, MN; life partner Jimmie Trott, Minto, ND, 3 grandchildren; siblings: Clyde Kitzan and Robert (Felisa) Kitzan of Glen Ullin, ND, Wanda Mickelson, Moorhead, MN and Tamra (Micheal) Zhorela, Grand Forks, ND; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Jacob Dolney.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. A visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the Grafton City Cemetery in the spring.
