Boyd Adam Jackson
1929 ~ 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Boyd Jackson, aged 94 years at the Pembina Manitou Health Centre on Tuesday February 20, 2024.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Shirley (Bob), Robert, Laurie, Cathy and Angela, grandchildren, Kim (Adam), Kristen (Alex), Joe (Jordan), Hailey (Chad), Morgan (Kara), Kelsey (Nathan), Lori (Brent), great grandchildren, Kelby, Logan, Callie, Ainsley, Torren, Emersyn, Colby and Avery as well as brothers-in-law, Ron and Ivan and sisters-in-law, Mae and Kathy and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anne and parents, Robert and Annie, siblings, Lena (Cliff), Pearl (Harvey), Bud, Glenn (Adrienne).
Boyd was born September 8, 1929 on the family farm in the RM of Pembina. He married Anne Yager on November 1, 1958. They raised their five children on the family farm. In 1980, they sold the farm and moved to Morden. Dad worked many jobs but a few were dear to his heart ICG, Bells Plumbing and Heating and Nueltin Lake. Dad enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, crib and other card games, and spending time with family and friends especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Celebration of life on Sunday February 25, 2024 at the Morden Legion Hall with ash interment prior to the service at the Jackson Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at Pembina Manitou Health Centre for your excellent care, compassion and spending quality time with Dad over the last three and a half years. Very much appreciated by his entire family. Dad was always there to give us a hand with any job big or small. You will always be remembered as the best boat driver, campfire buddy and most of all the best dang father we could have asked for. Rest in peace Dad. We will love you forever and always.
