Carol J. Tucker, age 87 of Grafton, ND passed away peacefully at the Unity Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Carol J. Green was born September 16, 1934 in Drayton, ND the daughter of the late George and Johanna (Nabben) Green. She attended rural school near St. Thomas, ND and graduated from the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN in 1952. She attended UND and University of Manitoba majoring in Journalism. Carol was united in marriage to Ralph Tucker on January 7, 1956 in Euclid, MN. The couple made their home in St. Thomas, ND where they farmed until retiring 1998. In 2010 the couple moved to Grafton, ND where they have resided since.
Carol was a member of the former St. Thomas Catholic Church and Altar Society, the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Grafton and the St. Thomas American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Ralph, Grafton, ND; children: Lynne Tucker, Jamestown, ND; Beth Nelson, Jill (Brian) Petersen and Lark (Connor) Oihus, all of Grafton, ND; Susan (Bruce) Willis, Washington Court House, OH; Bennet (Kris) Tucker, Allen (Lisa) Tucker, St. Thomas, ND; Janna (Richard) Rygg, Mayville, ND; and Gwen Horter, Perham, MN; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren with two more on the way. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special family friend, Vicki (Albert) Trenda, Grafton, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Manvel Green.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 PM with a rosary service at 5:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
