Clement Anton Dub was born December 29, 1936 in Pisek, ND, the son of the late Anton and Elizabeth (Cicha) Dub. He was raised on the family farm in Pisek and graduated from Walsh County Agriculture School. Following high school, he began farming with his dad and brother Emil. Farming and raising cattle was a huge part of Clem’s life as well as working 27 years for the North Dakota Seed Department. Clem loved many activities. Following his kids and grandkids was one of his most precious memories. He made many great memories at the Lake of the Woods with all the wonderful friends. Clem loved deer hunting and fishing. He was a huge Fighting Sioux Hockey fan. He was a very hard working man.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Park River and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He served on the Park River Rural Fire Department and served on the Rushford Township Board.
Clem is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley Dub, Park River, ND; children: Shawn (Connie) Dub, Anoka, MN; Shelly (Scott Daley) Dub, Park River, ND; Steve Dub, Baldwin, ND; grandchildren: Justin, Nevin, Tyler and Thomas; great grandchildren: Ronin and Ariana; sisters: Clementine and Verna. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott; grandson Nicholas; brothers: Emil, Charlie, Ray, Felix and sisters: Rosy, Florence and Irene.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Pisek, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be the Calvary Cemetery of Park River, ND. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Scott Dub UND Hockey Endowment and the First Care Health Center of Park River.
