Danny Berg
2004 ~ 2023
Danny Berg, son of Abe and Eva Berg was born on May 2, 2004 in Leamington Ontario. He was baptized July 10, 2022 with the Westside Community Church in Morden. Danny lived in Leamington until he was one and from there, we as a family moved to Morden, Manitoba. Like many, Danny struggled during Covid and it lasted around six months at his baptism he shared the following… "One night I dropped to my knees in prayer, this was the first time I felt the Holy Spirit come over me and from anger and resentment I went to uncontrollable joy and I leapt up and begin to dance in joy. I now hold all my faith in Christ". From that day on Danny strived to live every moment for the rest of his time on this earth seeking favor in God’s eye. He did this until his last breath.
Danny passed away suddenly after an accident at his workplace, JKW Construction on Thursday June 8th shortly after lunch. Danny was 19 years 1 month and 6 days old.
He was predeceased by his sister, Trudy Berg on June 21, 2007. Left behind are his parents, Abe and Eva Berg, his oldest brother, Willie Berg and wife, Eva Berg, his oldest sister, Agatha Wieler and husband, Justin Wieler, his younger brother, Tony Berg, his niece, Madison Wieler, his girlfriend, Annie Harms, her family, grandparents and many more extended family and friends.
Danny worked so hard to be where he is now, he was ready and although there is so much hurt, and we will miss him more than words can describe, we know death is not the end - it is just the beginning.
Thank you, God, for the 19 years we had with Danny before you called him home. The family thanks the first responders, BTHC, Wiebe Funeral Home, the church and everyone else for the help and prayers in the past and coming days.
