It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Simpson. David passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the age of 82 years. David leaves behind his loving wife, Beth, and her family. He was predeceased by his parents, and one sister.
David was born in England and immigrated to Canada in 1974. He lived in Ontario and Alberta during his working years, moving to Morden, MB in his retirement. David and Beth were well known in the community for their long-term dedication as volunteers at the Morden Community Thrift Store.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the very caring and thoughtful Doctors and Nurses who took care of Dave while in St. Boniface Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morden Community Thrift Store, 220 North Railway, Morden, MB R6M 1S7, or to a charity of one’s choice.
