Dean Ebertowski, age 72 of Minto, North Dakota, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home.
Dean Allen Ebertowski was born August 18, 1951, in Grafton, North Dakota, a twin son of the late Edward and Ruth (Kline) Ebertowski. He attended school in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School. Following his schooling, he moved to Minto where he worked for Minto Electric. He then began working for the IBEW Local 1426 in Grand Forks, and later worked for Linnell Electric, where he worked in the oil fields in western North Dakota. Dean returned to Minto and operated Dean’s Electric for over twenty five years, later joining his son Ryan, with whom Dean worked until the time of his death.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and always looked forward to their visits. Dean also enjoyed the outdoors, particularly tending to his apple trees and tomato plants, hunting, and fishing.
Dean is survived by his children: Ryan Ebertowski, Minto, ND; Holli (Will) Burgess, Savannah, GA; grandchildren: Jackson and Lola; sisters: Shirley Ebertowski, Grand Forks, ND; Joyce Anderson, Grand Forks, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his son, Tony, in 2020, his parents, his infant twin brother, Dennis, and his sister, Rosemary Rodgers.
Memorial services will be Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be on Friday for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Grafton, ND.
