DEBRAH'S OBITUARYDebrah (White Skorheim) Novak, 74, of Lankin, ND passed away peacefully on February 3, 2021 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Devils Lake, ND on November 19, 1946, Debbie was the daughter of the late Vernon White, Frances (Bogstie) White Skorheim and Dennis Skorheim. On August 4, 1962, she married Charles Novak, Lankin, ND where together they ran a grain and cattle farm and raised the loves of their life, sons, Michael and Mark.
She will be remembered for her love of books and her evening drives to check on the crops and cattle, with her car windows down and singing along to her favorite country songs. But most of all, she will be remembered for the love she had for her husband, sons, sisters, brothers and close friends.
In addition to her husband and sons, she is survived by dear friend Wes Sigette; sisters, Mary (Todd Heffta) Skorheim, Rita (Ron) Beneda, Denise (John) Bata; brother, Dennis (Julie) Skorheim Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceeded in death by her parents and brother, Steve.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lankin, ND on Friday February 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with a walk-through visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Social Distancing and face masks will be required. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
