Dolores P. Indridson, 97, of Cavalier, ND passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Church in Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, June 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service.
Dolores was born April 20, 1926, to William J. and Alma M. (Martineau) Gibson. She graduated from Cavalier High School in 1945 and then from St. Lukes School of Nursing in Fargo in 1948. She worked at the Cavalier Clinic for 40 years, retiring in 1990. On November 28, 1949, she married Duane P. “Dewey” Indridson at Cavalier.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, baking, attending Daily Mass, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie L. (Silas) Rawls, Fargo, ND, daughter-in-law, Val Indridson, Cavalier, ND, grandchildren: Kristin Sharp (Tony Nelson), Mindy Indridson, Miranda (Brett) Scholler, Justin (Angie) Rawls, and Zachary (Kendra) Rawls, great-grandchildren: Micayla, Zoey and Winney, Kinzee and Paityn, Kelly, and Haley, Wesley and Kody, great-great granddaughter, Paisleigh and brother, Pete Gibson.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Duane P. “Dewey”, son, Duane R. “Butch”, and siblings, Bill Gibson, Mae Lawonn, and Mary Ellen Ault.
