Donald R. Woods, age 91 of Grafton, ND formerly of Hoople, ND, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.
Donald R. Woods was born April 8, 1930 in Walsh County, North Dakota, the son of the late Linton and Minnie (Paterson) Woods. He enlisted in the United States Navy on November 21, 1951 and was honorably discharged on October 25, 1955. Donald was united in marriage to Beverly Crookston on December 31, 1952. The couple made their home on the farm near Hoople until moving to Leisure Estates in Grafton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and both Donald and Beverly loved to travel to Florida.
Donald is survived by his wife, Beverly Woods, Grafton, ND; sons: Robert Woods, Hoople, ND and David Woods, Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren: Jonathan Woods, Justin Woods and Alisha Parise; ten great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Hultgren, Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jean Otto.
