Donnie was born in Morden, MB on February 17, 1952. He graduated from Morden Collegiate and went to Red River College for Automotive Repair and Restoration. He did work for Mid-Town Ford for 40 years as a seasoned automotive professional.
His hobbies were going to Vintage Car Shows, talking to family and friends about vintage vehicles, especially his cousin, Ted and brother-in-law, Len. He was a quiet and unassuming individual who always had time for conversation. Donnie was a history buff and loved reading about different countries and his family geneology. He didn’t need notes to back anything information up. He was smart as a whip and very knowledgeable about his own health and life. He loved Morden and if given the opportunity, would have moved there to retire. Sadly, he will be so missed but we will always have fond memories of his brilliant mind.
Donnie was predeceased by his parents, John R. and Elizabeth Giesbrecht (nee Wolfe) and his brother, John. He leaves to mourn his passing his sisters, Linda (husband, Len), Annette Lambert and his brother, Frank (wife, Lucille) and their families. Your presence we miss and your memories we treasure; loving you always - forgetting you never.
Cremation has taken place and an ash interment will be held at Southside Cemetery in Morden.
