EDITH PENNER (NEE HAINES)
APRIL 22, 1933 – JULY 30, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Edith at the age of 88. Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, sister, and wife.
Edith was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Peter Penner. She leaves to mourn her 7 children, James (Faye), Linda, Terry (Sandi), Tim (Delia), Karl, Nancy (Vasco), Kimberly (Ted); Grandchildren Lisa, Jana, Roberta, Carmen, Dianne, Cole, Jason, Grant, Jesse, Peter, and Logan and many great grandchildren.
Edith is predeceased by her parents Peter and Karen Haines, sister Ruth (Walter), sister Greta (Earl), brother Ralf (Karen) and grandchild Brad Penner.
Edith was born and raised in Headingly, MB. As a young child you could often find Edith hitching hiking up the # 1 hwy to school. She met Peter at age 15, they married and started a family. Raising 7 children on their farm in Carter, MB. After having many grand kids, her name soon became Maim, which most of you know her as. Edith loved to knit, garden, and bake. She loved the Lord and would spread the word of Jesus by giving away Bibles.

As per Edith’s wishes cremation has taken place.
