Helen Janet Last (nee Russell)
February 21, 1936 to April 6, 2024
With great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother Helen Last.
Helen is survived by her husband of 67 years Walter, her children Lorna (Rob), Ronald (Ramona), Dennis (Debbie), Jon (Jen), Leslie (Brian), her grandchildren Michelle, Cindy (Dennis), Doug (Erika), Roxie (Brian), Al (Tracey), Andy (Christina), great grandchildren Ethan, Evelyn, Abby, Will, Joey, Lily, Anna, Julie, Gwenyth, Nora, Axel, Otto, and Prairie. She is also survived by her brother Gordon, sister Ruth, brothers in – law Ken, Donny, Terry, sisters in -law Lil, Jean, Helen, Marilyn as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mom had a long and fruitful career as a wife and mother. She will be fondly remembered for her candid conversations and straightforward opinions on most topics.
A private service will be held at Doyle’s Funeral Home.
