Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grunthal Bergthaler Church. Viewing will be from 1PM-6PM on Friday and from 1PM-6:30PM on Saturday at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Reinland Mennonite Church Cemetery, Grunthal, MB.

Helena Abrams, our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at Boundary Trails Health Centre on Wednesday February 28, 2024, at 10:15am at the age of 87.
Helena was born June 10th, 1936, in Altona, MB to her parents Dave and Elisabeth Zacharias. Her family later moved to Mexico where she grew up and met John Abrams, they were married March 19, 1956. They were happily married for 55 years and 4 months. During that time God blessed them with 12 children, 6 boys and 6 girls.
She was predeceased by her loving husband John Abrams, her parents, 1 daughter, 3 brothers, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law, 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter.
Helena is survived by 5 daughters, 6 sons, 61 grandchildren and 142 great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the doctors & nurses at Boundary Trails Health Centre as well as the staff at Wiebe Funeral Home and for all the prayers and support from family and friends.
