Isabell L. Morlock, 94, of Cando, ND and formerly of Egeland, ND passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the Heartland Care Center in Devils Lake, ND. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the Cando Lutheran Church with Pastor Bonnie Weaver officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at a later date at the Union Cemetery in Egeland, ND.
Isabell L. Schumacher was born in Egeland, ND on March 24, 1927 to Johann and Bertha (Schoenborn) Schumacher. She grew up in Egeland and graduated from Egeland High School. Isabell was united in marriage to Ferdinand ‘Ferdy’ Morlock on August 21, 1949 in Egeland, ND. The couple farmed in the Egeland area until 1991 when they moved to Cando.
Isabell is survived by her son: Marvin (Lauryl) Morlock of Wilton, ND; daughter: Linda (Allen) Martinson of Devils Lake, ND; grandchildren: Michelle Martinson of Rapid City, SD, Curtis Martinson of Devils Lake, ND, Shanna Morlock of Wilton, ND, Shane Morlock of Bismarck, ND, Kellyn Morlock of Grand Forks, ND, Kalea Kinnischtzke of Wilton, ND; great-grandchildren: Ally Messner of Fargo, ND, Seth Morlock of Bismarck, ND; Aaron Morlock of Bismarck, ND; Ayden Martinson of Devils Lake, ND and Sophie Kinnischtzke of Wilton, ND; sisters: Ella Timian of Langdon, ND, Irma Morlock of Devils Lake, ND; brother: Harvey Schumacher of Egeland, ND and sister-in-law; Mavis Blake of Devils Lake, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Alvin Schumacher, and five sisters, Alvina Martinson, Lenora Helgeson, Rena Clouse, Edna Andrick and Florene Nielsen.
