Jacob Allen Weiker was born on July 24, 1959 in Cando ND. At a young age the family moved to the Tokio, North Dakota area where Jacob lived and was educated. He loved the farm life, country life and worked as ranch hand in the area. He worked for Terry and Duane Smith for many years and most recently for Clinton Hammond family.
Jacob married his beloved Hilda Mary Demarce in January of 1990 in Devils Lake. They lived and raised their family through the years in the Tokio area. Jacob and Hilda opened their home and their hearts to many foster children and with loving hearts were adoptive parents also. Jacob’s Hilda, the love of his life died on November 7, 2019.
Jacob loved his family with all his heart. He was that special friend and neighbor always willing to help, to lend a hand whenever and wherever needed.
Jacob loved the outdoors, fishing and working on cars. He was so happy when he could pass on his mechanic skills to his son.
Jacob’s loving family include his children Anthony Weiker and his wife Kollin, Samantha Littleghost and Mary Weiker; grandchildren Meyleah, Malakye, Kodda, Nadine, Ella and Tatum and many dear friends.
His spiritual journey will lead him home to Heaven and to his wife Hilda.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Weiker, Jerrod Hathaway, Clinton Hammond, Dion Jackson, Troyal Thumb and Junior Rue.
A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in the spring of 2022 as he is laid to peaceful rest beside Hilda.
