Janice Colleen Tungland passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Eventide Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake ND.
Janice was born in Devils Lake on December 5, 1937 to Jonas and Anna (Bryn) Tungland. She attended Devils Lake Public Schools. Janice was a baptized, confirmed and active member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and volunteering at the Senior Citizen Center. Janice baby sat for several families in the Devils Lake area. Janice moved into Heartland Care Center in April of 2015.
Janice was a generous soul and liked to give gifts and share what she had.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Anna, brother James Tungland and sister Carol Olson.
Janice’s loving family that survive include her nephews Jay Olson, Allen Olson, Barry Tungland, Mark Tungland, Bryan Tungland and Lee Tungland; nieces Jacqueline Bosch and Paula Ramsey and many great nieces and great nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, location is pending.
