Mass of Christian burial will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St. Philips Catholic Church, Bemidji. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022 at St. Philips Catholic Church with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
Jeanette Van Camp Halcrow, born the daughter of Herbert M. and Helen (Hublou) Van Camp in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She attended St. Mary's Elementary School and St. James High School in Grand Forks before attending Marquette University and graduating from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Speech Therapy and later a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders. She married John Harold Halcrow on June 8, 1963. Jeanette liked to travel, read, play bridge, and tend her flower gardens, and enjoy her friends.
She is survived by her husband, John, and daughter, Jennifer, of Minneapolis, and her sisters, Marian Dornheim Kadlec and Nancy Holcomb. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
