Joan VanWyck (nee Nash)
Peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Carman Memorial Hospital, Joan VanWyck passed away at the age of 96 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl and daughter Jennifer Vockins (Shaun).
Joan is survived by son Michael Gibbs (Val); grandchildren Robyn (Dagan), Jeffrey, Michael Webb (Trudy) and their daughter Tanya. Daughter Julia Webb (David) and family. 10 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was born a twin in Birmingham, England. After surviving World War II and loosing a twin in her 30’s she came to Canada in 1965 to start a new life, finally retiring in Carman in 1992.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman United Church. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Livestream of service available at the following link https://youtu.be/q2C7jp9HcRA
