Jody Flores was born on January 14, 1974 in Temple, TX, the son of Joe Flores and Marlene Carlson. He moved to the Life Skills and Transition Center in Grafton at the age of 5. Jody was dearly loved by his family, the pride and joy of his grandparents, and all of the extended family at the Life Skills and Transition Center. Despite his many medical complications, Jody was always joyful. He like to travel and be on the go. He laughed frequently and his big smile was contagious. Jody didn’t let his health complications get in his way of living life. Some of his favorite things to do were attending musicals at Medora and Frost Fire and attending Pow Wows. Jody will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
Jody is survived by his mother, Marlene (Bernard) Bos, Roswell, NM, aunt Wendy Ranney, cousins Amanda, Angela, and Robbie Carlson, as well as his special friend RoseMary Horning, Bismarck, ND. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunt Barbie Carlson and uncle Wayne Carlson Jr.
A memorial service will be Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1:45 at the All Faith’s Chapel of Grafton. A visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Inurnment will be at the Grafton City Cemetery at a later date.
