This precocious, rambunctious, inquisitive, outgoing, adventurous, beautiful, loving, sweet little boy made his home in Devils Lake with his parents and two siblings. Jose’s brilliant smile, his sparkling eyes, his sweet giggle, his one-of-a-kind personality lit up the room, and you were just locked into his uniqueness and couldn’t help but smile. He had the beautiful temperament of his father, was a generous sharer like his mother and had the middle child personality. He was a baptized member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In these very short 18 months, our little Jose touched so many lives, so many hearts. He will be so very missed but always remembered as the sweet, beautiful, loving little boy he was.
The loving family that survives include his parents Jose and Brionna; sister Raya Dawn Despiegelaere; brother Mateo Alexander Cruz Despiegelaere; grandparents Jose Juan Cruz Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, Norma Milagros Mateo Rivera also of Puerto Rico, David Robert and Kari Ann Despiegelaere of Webster, ND; great grandparents Gloria Maria Cruz Gonzalez and Gloria Despiegelaere; uncles Ethan Despiegelaere also of Webster and Adrian Jose Torres Mateo of Puerto Rico and many other relatives.
