Lee Alvin Rahn, 83, of Rolette, ND, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando. Services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Valle Lutheran Church in Rolette, ND with Reverend Jim Odden officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Honorary bearer will be Wayne Earl Rahn. Burial will be in the Rolette City Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Dethman Armstrong American Legion Post # 194, Rolette, ND and the North Dakota Military Funeral Honors Team. Everyone is welcome to stream the service through the Dunnigan-Dix Facebook Page. Lee Alvin Rahn was born July 21, 1937 in Hazelton, PA the son of Earl & Mary (Hipsch) Rahn. He graduated from RHS High School in 1955 and entered the US Navy, where he served for twenty-five years and was honorably discharged as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He was united in marriage to Celia Molina on August 21, 1959 in Mexico. He attended Lewiston/Auburn from 1919-1997 and graduated with a degree in computer science. The couple moved to Rolette, North Dakota in 2000. He is survived by his wife Celia, son Mark Rahn and brother Wayne Earl (Patricia) Rahn. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Alice Landis. |
