Leodina “Lee” C. Steffen, 96 of Grand Forks formerly of Devils Lake ND passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2021 at Lakota Good Samaritan Center.
Funeral Services for Lee will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake ND.
Leodina Christina Steffen was born on May 5, 1925 in Belvidere, South Dakota, the daughter of Jacob and Magdalina “Maggie” (Herman) Pastian.
Lee was united in marriage to Earl Blaine Galbraith. In 1974, Lee was united in marriage to Louie Steffen on January 15, 1974 in Fargo ND. For 34 years, Lee was an apartment manager for IMM of Minot, North Dakota. Louie died on June 17, 2012.
For many years, Lee and Louie made their home in Grand Forks ND.
Lee is survived by her children Claire Thompson, Terry Snyder, Mike (Laurie) Galbraith and Loren Galbraith; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lee is also survived by step-daughters Debra Cooper and Linda (Mark) Hoen and their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louie, children Renee Kvernen and Kevin Galbraith, a grandchild, one brother, two sisters, one step-daughter, and four step-grandchildren.
