Lois Eisenrich

Lois Eisenrich, age 93 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton, ND.
Lois Torfin was born August 19, 1929 in Roseau, MN the daughter of the late Irving Ben Torfin and Peggy Esther (Sorter) Torfin. Lois graduated from the Roseau High School. Following her education she started working as a legal secretary for a law firm in Roseau.  Lois was united in marriage to Robert Eisenrich on October 1, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN. The couple lived in Warroad and Badger, MN until 1963 when they moved to Grafton. Lois started working for Burke/Hodny Law office in Grafton and remained there until retiring in 2010.
She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Altar Society, the Grafton American Legion Auxiliary, the Legal Secretary Association and an Anniversary group.
She is survived by her children: Thomas (Teresa) Eisenrich, Plymouth, MN and Jane “Tina” (Greg) Paschke, Forest River, ND; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Mary Connor, brother Iver Torfin and sisters: Dorothy Gunnerson and Peggy Magnusson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The funeral will be livestreamed via the Tollefson Funeral Home, Inc.
