Lois F. (Beck) Martin
Lois F. (Beck) Martin, 87, of Devils Lake, ND died peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Lois was a 1952 graduate of Munich High School, and worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at the Devils Lake Clinic, part of the Mercy Healthcare System, until her retirement. She enjoyed collecting key chains, working crossword puzzles, reading, and visiting the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Michael Martin; father Mathew H Beck; mother Alice E (Schumacher) Beck; sister Irene A. (Beck) Roe.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devils Lake on April 14,2021, at 10:00 am with the Very Reverend C.F. Wilhelm celebrating the Mass. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Devils Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully encourages contributions to your favorite charity in memory of Lois.
