Lorraine M. Crosby, 96, of Cavalier, ND passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Wedgewood Manor in Cavalier, ND. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.at the Cavalier Baptist Church in Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services.
Lorraine M Cosby, daughter of Upton and Hazel (Scott) McArthur was born January 16, 1927, in Cavalier. She grew up in Cavalier, where she attended Cavalier Public Schools. Lorraine married Dallas Crosby on November 14, 1945, where they raised two amazing children, Sharon (Crosby) Johannesson and Larry Crosby. Lorraine enjoyed her time crocheting, baking, making towels and blankets for loved ones. Her most cherished moments were spent with her friends, family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She worked at the Coast-to-Coast Hardware Store for 30 years.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Stacy Johannesson, Cavalier, ND, Darcy Johannesson, Roseau, MN, Dawn (Danny) Johannesson Nelson, Galesburg, ND, and Curtis Crosby, Walhalla, ND, great- grandchildren: Sydnee, Skyler, Derek, Jaeden, Blake, Brittany, Chelsey, Taylar, and Asher. Also survived by her great- great-grandchildren: Ben, Sophie, Elia, Hazel, Cooper, and Stevie.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Upton and Hazel McArthur, husband, Dallas Crosby, children, Sharon Johannesson and Larry Crosby, siblings, Frank McArthur and Inez Enerson.
