Margaret Ellen (Jones) Cutting, born July 1, 1927 near Elm Creek, Manitoba passed peacefully at the age of 96 with her family by her side on March 13, 2024.
Margaret was raised on the Jones family farm near Elm Creek. She married the “love of her life” Murray Gordon Cutting (late) from Homewood, Manitoba on December 15, 1956. Her life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children, Cynthia (Cyndie) Schram, (Jeffrey-late), Kevin and Patricia Cutting, Shannon and Blaine Rutter, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Margaret lived her life to the fullest as a farming partner for 40 years. She had many hobbies, pottery, macrame, painting, photo's of family and friends, genealogy. But, most of all it was her love of horticulture and gardening. With help from Murray, Margaret transformed the family farm and homes in Carman to be a scenic picturesque park receiving many awards. Mom could grow and nurture any plant back to health.
As a result of her caring, unselfish, kind hearted nature, she was loved by many. Margaret loved her family, extended family and friends, we were her greatest treasure.
A private service will be held.
