Marilyn enjoyed animals of all sorts and had many loved family pets, the outdoors, and spending numerous hours in her vegetable and flower gardens.
In 2002 Marilyn left Dauphin to pursue a management career with a large department store, taking her to Swift Current Saskatchewan, Calgary Alberta and Morden/Winkler Manitoba.
In 2001 she met Alvin Jurgens in Dauphin Manitoba and they were married on July 2, 2010 and resided in Morden Manitoba at their home until the time of her passing. Marilyn and Alvin enjoyed trips to Bakers Narrows Manitoba and Lake Lenor in Saskatchewan, as well as trips to the United States visiting family and enjoying quality time together.
Marilyn fought a long battle with heart-related complications and continued to strive to maintain the best life possible for her family.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Charlie and Beatrice Dewbury, Brother Robert Dewbury, Sister-in-law Gail Dewbury, In laws Lorne and Vera Gray, brother in law Dan Gray.
Marilyn is survived by husband Alvin Jurgens, sons Christopher and Scott (Tiffany) Gray, step sons Kevin and Danny Jurgens, grandchildren Karissa Lynn, Olivia Jean, Sabine, Boden, Makynlee, and Annorah Gray, Ellery, Chase, Brielle, Jett Jurgens. Nieces Becky Mayerly and Debbie Thacker. Nephews Robert and Benjiman Dewbury. Special son Daniel Kutcher. Sister in law Lynn Gray, Brother in law Allan Gray (Shirley), Jim Gray (Wenda)
A service for Marilyn will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Morden Manitoba on Saturday May 18, 2024 with interment to follow at a later date in Dauphin Manitoba
