Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with interment at the Winkler Cemetery. Viewing will be at the church prior to the service. Donations may be made in Mary's memory to BTHC Foundation designated to Palliative Care.

Mary Goertzen age 86, passed away on Monday March 28, 2022 at her home in Winkler surrounded by her family.
If we could honor her life, we would add her story to Hebrews 11 as one of the great examples of faith. She was a vessel of God’s love to those around her and will forever be missed by her family. She was the beloved wife of her late husband, John Goertzen (2002).
Missing you, Mom.
There aren’t enough words in the world to say how much you meant to us. You had a way of making each of us feel like we were the most important person to you. We miss your warm smile that could light up the darkest room; your warm squishy hugs that melted our hearts into a puddle of mush and your countless “I love you ziah’s”. You’ve left such a big hole in this world, but Heaven gained such a beautiful soul!
