Nancy was born on January 21, 1952 to John and Evelyn Kuk in Hamer, ND. After graduating from Warwick High School in 1971, she went on to get her Associates Degree at the University of North Dakota.
Nancy worked in management and several other industries throughout her life. She lived and worked in North Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, and moved back to ND later in life.
Nancy was married to Larry Dauphinais for 35 years and together they had two children Justin and Sara Dauphinais.
Nancy enjoyed playing sports with her children, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, going to music concerts, and spending time at the ocean and in the mountains.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father John, mother Evelyn, sisters Ann “Amy” (Roger) Skadsem, Beverly Kuk, nephew Christopher Carpenter, and brother-in-law Roger Skadsem.
Nancy is survived by her son Justin (Jodi) Dauphinais (Portland, OR), daughter Sara (Lilly) Dauphinais (Devils Lake, ND), grandchildren Brandon, Katy, Paige, and Harper Dauphinais (Portland, OR), brothers John (Sarah) Kuk (rural Sheyenne, ND) and Les (Tammy) Kuk (St. Michael, ND), sisters Judy (Gary) Geske (St. Michael, ND) and Gloria (Kuk) Kushel (Devils Lake, ND), former husband Larry Dauphinais (Portland, OR), several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
