Paul Willis Kemp was born May 14, 1952 in Drayton, ND to Willis and Myrtle (Smillie) Kemp. He attended the Prattford Country School No. 98 for two years, then on to Cavalier School where he graduated from Cavalier High in 1970.
Paul received an Associates Degree in Auto Body from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND in 1974. He had a variety of careers throughout his life, but most identified with being an over-the-road trucker, seeing much of the United States throughout his travels. He was proud to have attended and graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, AZ, in 2002. Paul loved fishing, hunting, motorcycles, visiting over coffee and sweets, and his grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his children: Chris Kemp (Marijo Peterson), Las Vegas, NV; Sarah Kemp Tabbut (Nate Tabbut), Fargo, ND; and Preston Kemp, Drayton, ND. Grandchildren: Nora, Samuel, and Felix Tabbut, Fargo, ND. Siblings: Dennis (Judy) Kemp, Park River; Gayle (Don) Geiger, Bonita Springs, FL; Jeff (JoEllen) Kemp, El Paso, TX; Steve Kemp, in Indiana. Sister-in-law: Delores Kemp, Cavalier, ND. Aunt: Carol Sparrow, Mayville, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Douglas, and infant grandson John Christopher.
