Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday July 24, 2023 at the Winkler Mennonnite Brethren Church with interment to follow at the Schoenweise Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2PM-6PM on Sunday at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler and at the church prior to the service. Donations may be made in Peter's memory to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation designated to Palliative Care or to the charity of one's choice.

Peter J Thiessen of Winkler, formally of Schoenwiese Manitoba, passed away on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 at Boundary Trails Health Centre after a courageous nine-year journey with cancer.
He will lovingly be remembered and missed by his wife, Irene (nee Falk), their five children, their spouses and thirteen grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, four sisters, ten brothers-in-law, nine sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Susanna Thiessen, one brother, three sisters, his parents-in-law, three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
