Peter Peters
1954 ~ 2021
Dad was born to Cornelius and Susana Peters in Mexico on September 13th, 1954. At the age of 12, his family moved to Manitoba. He got baptized upon the confession of his faith in 1975 and married the love of his life on July 25th, 1976. Dad was predeceased by his parents and parents-in-law, one daughter in infancy, 1 brother, 1 sister, 4 brother-in-laws, and one sister-in-law. He leaves behind to mourn his loving wife, Agatha, of 44 years, 6 children and 12 grandchildren: son Kevin and Lisa, son Neil and Eva, son Bernie and Tina with their children Colwyn, Darius, and Janelle, son Kenny and Lena with their children Lydia, Randy, Gloria, Daniel, and Amos, daughter Jennifer and Brent with their children Logan, Theodore, and Jade, and daughter Jessica and Matthew with their son Austin.
Dad worked for Puratone as a truck driver and mill operator for 30+ years. The last number of years he was owner/opearator truck driver for Scoular, which he really enjoyed. His interests included fishing, golfing and playing card games. Dad was a loving and kind-hearted man. He helped anyone he was able to when they came to him. I have heard in the past and now recently again that this was something Grandma Peters, his mother, was known for as well. Dad was the type of man that made friends where-ever he went. It was evident this week that he had many people that care about him through all the phone calls and messages the family received. Thank you to all of you that took the time to pray for us, all the encouraging words, and bringing meals. We can’t express enough how much that means to our family.
