Graveside service will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday January 6, 2024 at Westridge Memorial Gardens, Winkler. Viewing will be from 4PM-7PM on Friday January 5, 2024 at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler. Memorial service will take place spring/summer 2024. Donations may be made in Rena's memory to BTHC Foundation designated to Cancer Care.

Rena Duerksen passed away Monday January 1, 2024 at Boundary Trails Health Centre.
She was born on November 22, 1942 to Henry and Helena Elias.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Neufeld and Betty (Abe) Banman, three brothers, Harry (Gwen), George (Kathy) and Ed (Evelyn), her sister-in-law, Julia Elias as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends, Betty Elias and Elle Peters and others.
Rena was predeceased by her parents, daughter, Jennifer (2017), brother, Pete Elias, infant sister, Shirley Elias, brother-in-law, Jay Neufeld and nephew, Bradley Hildebrand.
