Reynis Egill Fafnis, born May 30, 1935 in Winnepeg, MB, departed this life on July 21, 2023 at home in Gold Bar, WA. He was 88. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain Cemetery.
Reynis proudly served his country in the US Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed fixing and tinkering (especially with cars and mechanical things) and spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his daughters, Joan Hays, Sue Horton, Sonja White (Chuck), Connie Van der Cook, and Lorene Sweeny, stepdaughters, Tina, Charlotte, Mitzi, and JoAnn, 10 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Egill and Ellen Fafnis, his siblings, his first wife, JoAnn Fafnis, and his second wife, Elizabeth Fafnis. He will be laid to rest at Mountain Cemetery in Mountain, ND.
