Robert was born to Oscar and Carolina (Thomasson) Dearinger on January 14, 1944. He was the sixth out of ten children. On March 22, 1966, Robert married his beautiful bride, Linda Pitcher. They made their home in Walhalla, ND. He worked for area farmers until he started his own salvage yard.
He will be remembered for his generosity and his honesty. He had a huge heart for children and being a foster parent for 25 years. He and Linda were foster parents of the year in 2002.
Robert could always be found at an auction sale, making friends wherever he went. He was always joking around.
We are so grateful God gave us this wonderful man, that he is no longer in pain and that he’s with his momma.
