Robin Jean Redroad, daughter of Linda (Feather) and Robert Redroad Sr. grew up in the Woodlake area of the Spirit Lake Nation. She attended school at Four Winds in Fort Totten.
Robin met Emerson St. John and they were the proud parents of Natasha and Emily. They made their home in South Dakota for a time, then Robin and the children moved back to the Spirit Lake Nation. Robin worked several years at Head Start, a job she truly enjoyed.
Robin felt so blessed to reconnect with Miles Thompson whom she had known since they were twelve years old. They grew up together, experienced so many good times and made it through all the bad times together and were united in marriage on December 3, 2001.
They had made their home in Minneapolis for the past 14 plus years. Miles passed away on April 30, 2022.
Robin loved to cook. She was always making big family meals, entertaining, making sure everyone was fed. During the summer months, Robin and Miles enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
