Sharlene D. Berg, 70, of Walhalla, ND, passed away Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held for one hour before the time of the service.
Sharlene was born September 20, 1950, in Altona, Manitoba to Donald and Nellie (Johnston) Gibney. She grew up and attended school in Grand Forks, ND. On November 1, 1974, Sharlene married David Berg. They owned and operated the LeRoy Bar. Sharlene also worked at Choice Financial and the Walhalla Inn. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Jason (Rebecca) Berg, Walhalla, ND; and Jodi (Keith) Beagle, Columbia, SC; grandchildren: Nicole, Caylee, and Spencer Berg; and Hunter and Hayden Taylor; siblings: Donald (Wendy) Gibney and Debbie (Dwight) Berg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents; brother, Robert; and sisters: Sharon, Sandy, and Shirley.
