Shirley Margaret Eaton (nee Veale)
1935 ~ 2022
Shirley Margaret Eaton (nee Veale) age 87 years passed away peacefully Sunday December 4, 2022 at Boundary Trails Health Centre surrounded by her family, after a two year struggle with cancer.
Shirley was known for her active involvement in curling (both playing and later watching) and always was glued to the tv around the briar and curling championships events. An active artist, Shirley could be found painting with water colours, pastels and other medium various portraits, animals and sceneries which were often donated or used for teaching in art.
Shirley is survived by her two children, Dale Crouch (Donna) and Geoff Crouch, three grandchildren, Rob (Shelley) Carolyn (Chris) and James and four great grandchildren, Maisie, Lily, Isaac and Felix. She was born into a family of five children and is survived by her two sisters, Muriel Park of Brandon and Marlene Farough of Calgary, Alberta. She also included three stepchildren, Michele (Gord), Rob (Debbie) and April (Ken) and their families to be part of her own.
A private family graveside service will be held in the summer of 2023 where she will be interred with her late husband, Harry Eaton at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Winnipeg.
