Tami J. Wang was born on April 12, 1967 in Fargo, North Dakota to the late Clarence “Casey” Wang and Corinne (Chapman) Lindgren Wang. She grew up and attended school in Park River. After graduation, she attended the University of North Dakota before starting her career at the Life Skills and Transition Center. Tami worked for the LSTC for 28 years and was still passionate about her position and the people she worked with every day.
Tami was a very outgoing person and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved an adventure, whether she was traveling, camping, boating, or relaxing by the water, she savored the moments that brought joy to her life. She was overjoyed to find out she was soon going to be a grandma. She was a member of Federated Church of Park River, the American Legion Auxiliary, and was active with Special Olympics and Relay for Life.
Tami will be dearly missed by her children: Brittany Denault, Grafton, ND and Ryan White, Moose Lake, MN; her sisters: Pam Novak, Grand Forks, ND and Corinne Lindgren, Park River, ND; and her nieces and nephews: Heidi (Danny) Kihne, Neche, ND, Terri (Mike) Cicha, Iowa City, IA, and David Novak, North Liberty, IA; and her loving dog, Ollie. She will be remembered by her coworkers and residents at the LSTC for years to come, for her commitment and compassion. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Guy Lindgren.
